I am a teacher-scholar, professor of Curriculum Studies in the College of Education at TCU, Associate Dean of TCU’s School of Interdisciplinary Studies, president of the Society of Professors of Education, and past director of the TCU Center for Public Education. My current research explores the struggle for public education through filmmaking. I publish under the name M. Francyne Huckaby, but most people call me Fran or Dr. Huckaby. I prefer Fran.
